Customer Feedback - Vasudha Kiran

Hello -
Greetings.
Visit to Andaman/Havlock was wonderful and thanks to Letsgotravels, who made our trip even more wonderful and memorable. Right from the day of our enquiry about the packages to customization to our needs, making reservations in hotels, arranging local sightseeing with local agents in Havlock to Airport drop in Portblair towards the end of the trip, Letsgotravels helped in all ways to make the entire experience as smooth as possible.
At one point where we had to share the boat, we called up Sonia and asked for a private boat ride as we are on a honeymoon and instantly, the agent was contacted and the same was arranged. It was quick and instant.
On the whole, the entire trip was memorable and we would like to thank Sonia and Anil, who we frequently interacted with, for being patient in answering all our queries and arranging a wonderful trip. Given a chance, I would like to recommend to my collegues and friends.
The only place where you can improve is giving the name and contact details along with Itenarary as we have to call Letsgotravels each time to find out who is coming to pick up. So, listing of such tips also will help the guests a lot in planning the tour.
Thanks again and look forward to availing other packages with you in future.
Regards
Vasudha Kiran

Andaman and Nicobar Islands : Travel Guide

Map Of Andaman and Nicobar Islands

History Of Origin :

In the year 1789, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands were first discovered by the British Empire. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a collection of nearly 600 separate small islands in the Bay of Bengal. The islands were inhabited by nearly 6 tribal groups then. The Nicobar Islands were thickly populated by the Nicobari tribes especially in Car Nicobar, Nancowrie, Camorta and Katchal islands. The other groups of tribes are the Shompan tribes who lived in Campbell Bay at Great Nicobar.
However the Britishers left the island by 1796 due to natural calamities. The Britishers established their colony in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the second time in 1858.During this colonization the British Officials and soldiers settled in large groups. The islands were used as a penal colony by the British rulers to imprison rebels and freedom fighters, in addition to hardened criminals. Most of the inhabitants of these islands are in fact migrants from the mainland, some of them being descended from the prisoners.
